Mary T Cleary

Mary has lost count of the number of times she has appeared on radio and national television. She keeps getting asked back as a guest by producers and hosts alike.  She’s Irish, feisty and a global expert on the issues relating to men being abused by their intimate partners.

With a background as a nurse, she set up the charity www.Amen.ie  in 1998 when she gained first-hand experience treating men at hospital clinics who had been injured, yet claimed at the time they had ‘fallen down the stairs’ or gave a variety of other excuses in order to hide the fact that they’d been attacked by their partner.
